It is very important to choose a reasonable modeling structure for automobile stamping parts
2021-05-28 16:16:30

The production cost of automobile stamping parts includes fixed cost and variable cost. Fixed cost refers to the cost of equipment and die needed to produce stamping parts, while variable cost refers to material cost and labor cost. The proportion of fixed cost and variable cost is 35% ~ 65% respectively. In the fixed cost, it is mainly fixed investment such as tooling and equipment, which is less decomposed into unit cost; In the variable cost, the proportion of material cost is more than half. Therefore, in order to reduce the production cost of stamping parts, the material cost should be controlled strictly.

Automotive stamping parts

The unreasonable structural design of stamping parts determines the low utilization rate of materials, and the low utilization rate of materials caused by the structural design of stamping parts can not be improved. The shape of stamping parts determines the upper limit of the utilization rate of materials, so the reasonable design of stamping parts determines the later material utilization rate.

1、 The stamping parts are divided reasonably

Through the discussion with the Department, the structure should be optimized as far as possible under the premise of meeting the performance of stamping parts in the early design stage of stamping parts, so as to achieve the large material utilization rate of parts, as shown in Figure 3. The two ends of the stamping data protrude, which is not conducive to the formulation of the later die technology, but also greatly affects the material utilization.

2、 The shape of stamping parts is reasonable

Through se engineering, the material utilization rate of each stamping part is optimized as far as possible by means of structure discussion and layout of stamping parts. As shown in Table 1, the material utilization rate of scheme 2 is high, the material utilization rate of modeling is low, and the material utilization rate of conventional design is high, as shown in Table 2.

Therefore, it is very important to choose a reasonable modeling structure in the stamping design stage, which also directly affects the vehicle manufacturing cost.

At present, automobile manufacturers pay more and more attention to the quality and economy of the whole vehicle, and the body, as a unit with a large proportion of the whole vehicle mass, bears a greater pressure to reduce the mass, so most manufacturers put forward more demands for the use of steel plate materials, especially the use of steel plate. The steel plate and very steel plate (usually more than 1000MPa) are used to reduce the amount of metal and material thickness while meeting the strength requirements, so as to achieve the purpose of reducing the body weight (improving the economy); On the other hand, the use of steel plate can make the car body more easily achieve the stability performance index. The current cold stamping process has obvious shortcomings in forming steel plate, which can not meet the design requirements, and the hot stamping process can make up for this defect. Therefore, hot forming technology is widely used in a variety of car models of major automobile companies, such as the door sill, front bumper beam, B-pillar, side door anti-collision plate and so on.
