What are the main stamping parts in the process?
2019-10-25 10:50:06

If the stamping process of automobile parts is hot stamping, the benefits it can bring are mainly to realize the lightweight production of automobile, and to effectively improve the strength of stamping parts. Moreover, it is formed at high temperature, so it also has the advantages of high accuracy, good molding performance, and no rebound problem. The automobile parts that can be used are anti-collision beam, safety parts and body structure parts.

If the stamping parts are formed by hot stamping, what are the main processes?

If the stamping parts are formed by hot stamping, there are mainly the following in the specific process:

Blanking: that is, stamping the plate into the required contour blank for subsequent processing.

Austenitizing: it includes two stages of heating and heat preservation. Its processing purpose is to heat the material to a suitable temperature, so that it has good plasticity.

Transfer: it is to take the heated material out of the heating furnace and then send it into the thermoforming mold. The key point is to speed up. If the speed is too slow, it will affect the quality of stamping parts.

Stamping, quenching and follow-up treatment: stamping and forming of materials at a certain temperature, so as not to affect the forming performance of materials. When the material is formed, the mold should be closed and kept for a certain time, so that the material has good performance, and at the same time, it should be quenched. In the follow-up treatment, it is mainly some surface treatment, or drilling and other small processing.

From a professional point of view, the cold stamping of stamping parts refers to the use of the die on the press to exert a certain pressure on the material to separate or plastic deformation, so as to obtain the desired finished products. Generally speaking, punching and bending are the two processes, which are punching first and then bending, so as to facilitate the processing of CNC punch. However, in some special cases, it is necessary to bend before punching.
