What are the precautions for auto sheet metal processing
2022-08-15 17:01:25

Precision automobile sheet metal parts are the basic process equipment to realize sheet metal processing. The surface quality of sheet metal stamping parts, precision sheet metal dimensional accuracy, productivity and economic benefits all depend on the reasonable design and manufacturing of the die structure. Therefore, at present, the design and manufacturing of stamping dies are developing in the following three directions.

Automobile sheet metal parts

When the welding slag is removed by enemy attack, it is forbidden to look directly with naked eyes, and the eyes shall be properly shielded. No naked eye welding is allowed at any time. Keep the ventilation of the workshop. When welding in a closed environment or in a sealed container, corresponding air supply measures must be taken and a special person shall be responsible for monitoring.

The welding of pressure vessels of dangerous goods transport vehicles must be approved by hot work, and the storage tanks shall be digested, cleaned and replaced as required. The operation can only be carried out under the supervision of specially assigned personnel after the inspection and confirmation. Clean the operation site at any time. The workpieces shall be placed regularly. The welding slag shall be stacked in a safe place to prevent scalding and fire. The processibility of the blanking part refers to the adaptability of the blanking part to the blanking process. In general, the structural shape, accuracy requirements, form and position tolerances and technical requirements of the parts have a great impact on the process of precision sheet metal. Whether the process of blanking parts is reasonable or not affects the quality of blanking parts, die life, material consumption, precision sheet metal productivity, etc. the process should be improved as much as possible in the design.

How to choose the bending die for automobile sheet metal processing?

Bending dies are divided into standard dies and special bending dies according to the bending process. Under standard bending conditions (right angle and non right angle bending), standard molds are generally used for bending, and special molds are used for bending some special structural parts (such as segment difference bending, dead edge pressing, etc.). In addition, when bending plates with different thickness, the opening size of the bending die and the size of the "V" groove are different. Generally, the opening size of the "V" groove is 6-10 times of the plate thickness (6T for 0.5-2.6mm, 8t for 3-8mm, 10t for 9-10mm, and 12t for more than 12mm).

When the plate is thin, the orientation is decimal, and when the plate is thick, the orientation is large. For example, 12mmv groove can be selected when bending 2mm plate. The angle of standard bending is generally not less than 90 degrees, and the sharp angle of the upper die and the lower die of the standard bending machine is generally 88 degrees. In case of non-standard bending, different upper mold shapes can be selected, and different angles and shapes of plates can be bent. For special shape sheet metal parts, special bending die can be selected for forming and bending.

When the material is bent, the outer layer is stretched and the inner layer is compressed in the fillet area. When the thickness of the material is constant, the smaller the internal R, the more serious the tension and compression of the material; When the tensile stress of the outer fillet exceeds the ultimate strength of the material, cracks and fractures will occur. Therefore, the structural design of the bending parts should avoid too small bending fillet radius.
